The ideal event for Year 10 and 11 school leavers and for exploring what courses our University Centre has to offer.
Discover our fantastic facilities, meet our dedicated tutors and current students and explore your options. Our Open Event will help you learn more about the study area you are interested in and help make your choice easier.

You can explore our different areas to help you choose whether A-Levels, Technical/Vocational, T-Levels or an Apprenticeship is right for you.
You can speak with tutors and students, see our fantastic facilities and find out about the support we can provide for you to reach your potential. Our Open Events provide a great chance for you to experience what itβs like to study, be a part of our community and what Blackburn College life is all about.

Can I make an application at the Open Event?
Yes! You will be able to fill out an application form at the event with the help of a staff member.

Where do I go to at the Open Event?
Beacon Centre β Please head directly to the Beacon Centre (number 7 on the campus map). You will sign in and then be able to head to your chosen area.
When you arrive on campus our campus map will help guide you to your preferred sign in location.

Parking
Car parking is available on campus (BB2 1LH) or at Feilden Street multi-storey (BB2 1LQ). Please note Feilden Street multi-storey closes at 8.00pm.
