Aimed at Therapists working in a professional setting wanting to understand the skin functions, conditions, treatments and ingredients in more depth.
What will I study?
- Understanding the skin in greater depth.
- Explore the effects on the skin from environment, lifestyle, extrinsic and intrinsic factors.
- Understanding the microbiome.
- Have an overview of different skin conditions
- Identifying questions during consultation.
- Understanding key ingredients in products
- Advice on advanced treatments and treatment planning
Entry Requirements

Therapist already working on skin in a professional environment, learners must be aged 19 or over.
How will I be assessed?

No formal assessment. After completion of the course you will receive a Blackburn College certificate of attendance.
