Waxing is an excellent addition to any treatment menu and provides repeat business as it is an essential maintenance option for many clients.

What will I study?

This course covers the techniques to enable you to provide a professional Waxing treatment.

Anatomy and physiology of the skin and hair
Health, safety and hygiene
Client care
Warm and hot waxing to all areas
Different methods of hair removal
Legs, under arm, bikini, eyebrows and facial waxing

Delegates will need to be prepared to have all areas waxed, to allow other students to practise.

Entry Requirements

No previous experience is necessary, learners must be aged 19 or over. Model required.

How will I be assessed?

You will be assessed by your practical assessment, after successfully completing the course you will receive a Blackburn College Certificate of attendance.

If you would like to upgrade your certificate to an accredited Guild certificate you will need to complete an online theory course via the Guild and book onto one of the beauty assessment days.
