The course is open to anyone wishing to learn how to screen-print onto fabric. The course runs for 3 hours per week for 6 weeks.

What will I study?

What will I study?

Throughout the course, you will be guided step-by-step through a variety of printmaking processes.

You will be encouraged to experiment with shape, colour, layout and patterns within the printmaking studio at Blackburn University Centre. You will build a collection of samples as you experiment and sample through the given techniques from stencil printing to creating your own screen.

Towards the end of the course, you will be given the opportunity to print your designs onto a t-shirt, tea-towel or tote bag to take home with you. All materials will be provided however you may wish to bring along a pencil and notebook to take notes throughout the course.
