Overview
The course is a perfect introduction to Digital and IT and also lets you build on your employability skills. If you know you want to work in an IT environment but do not have the qualifications to start at Level 2 this is the course for you. Successful completion of the course allows you to progress on to the next level.
What will I study?
You will develop skills in digital marketing using social media, build a website, learn about cybercrime and produce audio for a media product. You will also learn how to creating business documents and use a range of digital technologies. As well as improving your IT skills you will improve your employability skills.

How will I be assessed?
You will build a portfolio of evidence by completing an assignment for each module.
What can I do next?
You can progress on to the Level 2 Extended Certificate in Digital and IT Skills or the BTEC Level 2 Certificate in Information and Creative Technology.
The progression pathway depends on your attendance, punctuality, creativity and level of independence shown at Level 1.
