We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Data Science to contribute to teaching a variety of modules on our new and exciting undergraduate data science provision, and on our already successful software development and networking and cyber security provision. This is an opportunity to join our thriving computing team within the School of Business, Commercial and Technology at the University Centre, Blackburn College. The College is about to heavily invest in its cyber and software facilities making this an exciting time to join this curriculum area.
In this role, you will deliver effective teaching, learning and assessment at undergraduate level. You will be expected to be up to date and engaged in current theory and practice, and will require specific skills in various aspects of data science including: programming, artificial intelligence, software development, cloud computing, statistics and mathematics.
