Welcome to Clayton Glass! We are one of the UK’s largest and most trusted business-to-business manufacturers and suppliers of insulating glass units (IGUs).
Since forming back in 1956, Clayton have become the go-to source of knowledge on all things glass. Through many years of learning and developing, we now operate at the forefront of the latest that glazing technology has to offer, whether it be windows, bifold doors, skylights or conservatories.
We have six sites in County Durham, Scotland, Newcastle, Blackburn, Nottingham and Canterbury, containing over 600 unique personalities, all pulling in the same direction to achieve our common goal of glazing Great Britain.

Job Purpose:
To deal with all customer orders and enquiries with a positive and helpful approach providing first class customer service.
Duties:
The following list is typical of the level of duties which the post holder is expected to perform or be responsible for. It is not exhaustive and other duties of similar type and level may be expected from time to time.
- To deal with internal and external customer enquiries professionally.
- To contact customers to advise on and resolve any problems with orders.
- To liaise with the Production Office and the Transport Department re. urgent orders.
- Maintain customer filing system, ensuring it is kept up-to-date at all times.
- To print all orders on a daily basis, and add a processing date.
- Assist order processing team when required.

Qualifications Required
- GCSE Grade 3 or above or Functional Skills Level 1 or above
