Working in a very busy school office of under the direction of the Finance/Office Manager.
To be the first point of call for visitors, parents and staff at our school.
To receive and make calls to parents and outside agencies.
Job Role
You will have responsibility to contribute to the efficiency of the school office and create a welcoming atmosphere to visitors to our school in line with our school’s Mission Statement.
General Office Duties
To be the first point of call for visitors, parents and staff to our school
To ensure tidiness, organisation and general appearance of the school office
Undertake administrative arrangements for school events
Teachers to Parents texting service
Filing confidential paperwork
Distribution incoming mail and parcels
To support staff with reprographics
To receive and make calls to parents and outside agencies
Assist with ordering and replenishment of stock
Collecting children from class for appointments’/illness
Pupil Records
Preparing, entering and updating pupil records
Inputting data on SIMS
Entering payments onto online our payment system
Additional Duties
To undertake any word processing required by staff in a confidential manner
To undertake all duties with regard for all relevant school policies and procedures
Promoting good parent/ pupil relationships
An additional language is an advantage as it is heavily relied upon
