Do you hold a L1 Motor Vehicle qualification & are looking for a Level 2 Autocare apprenticeship?
DTJ Commercials Ltd is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Autocare Apprentice (Level 2). The role focuses on a multitude of vehicles and manufacturers providing vehicle maintenance support to its existing and expanding clientele.
The successful applicant must have either completed a Level 1 or be working towards a Level 2 motor vehicle qualification in college. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a busy, professional workshop while working towards a nationally recognised qualification.
Job description
Duties and responsibilities will include:
- Workshop maintenance including cleaning duties
- Stock management
- Vehicle fault diagnostics
- Servicing
- Repairs
- Replacing tyres and Alignment
- Complete associated paperwork
- Customer liaison
- Supplier liaison
Required Skills
- Be a self-starter
- Have some knowledge of tools and vehicle components
- Have completed simple vehicle servicing under supervision.

- Demonstrate ability to take initiative and seek support/advice where applicable
- Ability to work flexibly and be a team player
- Good communication skills verbal and written
Working Schedule
8.30AM- 5.00PM including clear up time Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings.
Required Qualifications
GCSE Grade 3 in Maths & English
Must have Level 1 in Motor Vehicle
Proposed Duration
33 Months
Future prospects
Progression to Level 3 and permanent role
