At Blackburn College, we have our very own commercial hair and beauty teaching studio, The Salon. This professional setting is open to the public, and offers a wide range of professional services and treatments.
The Salon enables students to experience a real working environment and develop their skills like they would in the industry. The facilities are equipped to the highest standard and all sessions are supervised by very experienced and highly qualified staff.

The Salon's facilities include:
- Four hairdressing salons
- Courtyard Barbers, our specialist barbering salon
- Three beauty therapy studios
- Specialist nail salon
- Media makeup studio
Opening times
We are open on weekdays during term time:
- Monday: 8.30am to 7pm
- Tuesday: 8.30am to 7pm
- Wednesday: 9am to 2pm
- Thursday: 8.30am to 7pm
- Friday: 8.30am to 2pm
