MS Motors is looking for an apprentice to join the small team of auto technicians. Role is primarily focused on the Mercedes brand vehicles, and it is to be expected that that the apprentice will have at least a Level 1 Motor vehicle qualification, and possess the enthusiasm to support the team during their learning journey
Job description
· Workshop maintenance including cleaning duties
· Stock management
· Vehicle fault diagnostics
· Servicing
· Repairs
· Some welding (once trained)
· Complete associated paperwork
· Customer liaison
· Supplier liaison
Required Skills & Personal Qualities
- Basic knowledge of tools and vehicle components
- Excellent work ethic
- Must have a passion for motor vehicles and be able to demonstrate basic knowledge
- Good communication skills verbal and written
Qualifications required
Level 1 essential – level 2 preferred
Working Schedule
8.15am- 5.45pm including clear up time Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings
Required Qualifications
GCSE Grade 3 in Maths & English
