The company is looking to support their next apprentice to support the business on sites across Lancashire.
If you hold a L1 in Carpentry & Joinery, then this can be an amazing opportunity for you to progress to the L2 C&J Apprenticeship.
Job Role
· An apprentice supports skilled carpenters by performing tasks such as measuring and cutting materials, assembling structures, and installing components like doors, windows, staircases, floor joists, hinges and all other tasks relevant to the trade.
· Handling, maintaining and storing construction tools and materials.
· Preparing and organised work site
· Working with instructions/drawings and plans to meet customer specifications and requirements.
· Adhering to all health and safety requirements on site and adhering to the employers’ health and safety procedures.
· Will be required to keep the work area clean for the trades people and be ready to start at the bottom and work alongside their mentors to build experience skills and knowledge.
Skills and Personal Qualities Required:

Driving is not essential; however, the employer prefers candidates who can drive or can be dropped off at Junction 3 of the M65, near the Hoghton Arms.

- Excellent work ethic demonstrated by previous work experience of any type
Working schedule
Monday-Friday 7:30am-16:30pm
Saturdays required as needed for additional pay.
Qualifications
At least Level 1 in Carpentry & Joinery
GCSE Maths: Grade 3 (or equivalent)
GCSE English: Grade 3 (or equivalent)
