We are now looking to recruit a Business Support Apprentice to join our friendly school office team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain real-world experience in a busy school environment while working towards a nationally recognised qualification.
As a Business Support Apprentice, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the school office. You will provide administrative support to staff, parents and visitors, helping the school operate smoothly while developing valuable skills that will support a future career in administration, business or education.
This is a varied, people facing role where no two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities
· Assist with updating school registers, through daily communication with staff/parents on attendance issues.
· Daily use of Microsoft Office.
· Daily use of Sims, Parent Pay and other school applications
· Reprographics
· Provide cover and assistance on the school reception desk including answering the phone
· Provide routine administrative support e.g., photocopying, filing, emailing, data entry etc.
· Assist in escorting pupils who are late or returning from an appointment to their classroom.
· Supporting school staff with IT
· Stock checking books/stationery
· General financial support to the Business Manager

GCSE Maths grade 4 and English Grade 4 –
