The Employer
Together Housing are one of the largest housing associations in the North of England, managing over 36,000 homes across the North of England, with their main office based in Blackburn not far from the bus and railway stations.
This amazing opportunity has arisen for an individual wishing to embark on their admin career.
The successful apprentice will study the Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship at Blackburn College one day a week. Applicants will also attend an initial assessment at Blackburn College prior to submission to the employer.
Key Functions

The Apprentice in the Resolution Team will assist in managing and resolving customer complaints. This role involves learning and applying problem-solving skills, handling customer interactions, and supporting the team in various administrative and project-related tasks.
• Complaint Management: Provide a full service for complaints from initial contact to resolution. Apply problem-solving skills to resolve challenging or complex complaints and act as a key point of contact for addressing issues
• Record and Document Production: Produce accurate records and documents, including emails, letters, files, payments, minute-taking and correspondence, write reports, review others' work, and handle confidential information in compliance with the organisation's procedures
• ICT Skills: Use multiple IT packages and systems relevant to the organisation, such as MS Office, to write letters or emails, create proposals, perform financial processes, record and analyse data. Update and review databases, record information, and produce data analysis where required.
• Planning and Organisation: Plan meetings and be responsible for the logistics. Meet colleagues' expectations for tasks undertaken and improve the management of working practices and resources
• Process Administration: Follow the organisation's processes, such as making payments or processing customer data.
• Policy Adherence: Understand and adhere to the organisation's internal policies and key business policies relating to the sector
• Performance Management: Participate in regular documented one-to-one meetings to discuss performance, receive feedback, and set targets/goals to ensure progress
