Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship

If the answer is yes, then we have an amazing opportunity for someone to progress to their Level 3 Early Years educator apprenticeship. 

Blackburn College are pleased to partner with Les Enfants pursuit of their Level 3 Early Years Educator apprentice.

The successful candidate will contribute to a programme of activities that meet the individual needs and interests of the children in your care. You will work towards a Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship.

We are looking for an apprentice who has completed their level 2 Early years who is ready gain valuable experience with a strong experienced team in a fabulous setting. We are looking for an enthusiastic committed individual who is passionate about child development and has a willingness to learn and become part of our team.

We expect the applicant to be willing to be flexible and have good work ethic and commitment to the role.

Applicant must be able to follow instructions and use own initiative.

Mentoring and training will be given.

DBS checks will be required.

Main responsibilities:

  • To work towards an accredited childcare qualification in a real working environment
  • To provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for all children in the nursery
  • To give support to other team members throughout the nursery
  • To work as part of a team to provide an enabling environment in which all individual children can play, learn and develop

Key areas:

  • Work with and support children
  • Work as part of a team
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with parents.
  • To attend training as part of your training agreement
  • To attend job specific training/meetings to help you develop and progress in your role

Skills Required:

·         Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

·         Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

·         Basic understanding of child development and early years education.

·         Good organizational skills with the ability to multitask.

·         Patience, flexibility, and adaptability in a dynamic environment.

·         Basic IT skills for record-keeping and communication.

·         Compassionate, caring, and empathetic nature.

·         Reliable and punctual.

·         Positive attitude and proactive approach to work.

·         Creative and resourceful in engaging children.

 

Qualifications Required:

·         GCSEs in English and Math at grade C/4 or above (or equivalent).

·         Level 2 Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship.

 

 Job Types: Fixed term, Apprenticeship (1 day release for college)

 Pay £7.55 from April 2025

 Schedule:40 hours Mon-Fri between 7.30 & 5.45pm

 Holiday Entitlement: 28 days including bank holidays
