Course Length
Six sessions | 3 hours session | Wednesday 3pm – 6pm

Overivew
There are no specific entry requirements however we would ask that students have basic IT skills and an interest in 3D printing.
This course is suitable for students who have a basic knowledge of engineering and/or are willing to learn the basics of engineering.

What will I study?
During the course, students will be taught how to use the following operational commands and procedures:
- How to setup the 3D printer.
- How to Add 3D files to the slicer software.
- How to confidently use the features of the software.
- How to setup the model in the workspace.
- Understanding different types of filaments.
- General maintenance of the 3D printer.

How will the course be delivered?
In a CAD room with computer and 3D printers.

What will I get at the end of the course?
Be able to fully use 3D printers with different filaments.
Use a variety of different software’s to 3D print.
Be able to maintain 3D printers.

What can I do next?
Be able to start up 3D printer business.
Advance to CAD course to produce 3D files.
Advance to Laser cutting course.
