Overview
Blackburn College are pleased to partner with a reputable company in Padiham to support the recruitment of their next apprentice.
Responsibilities
- Support the qualified plumbers to assemble and install heating systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Support and learn to conduct routine maintenance checks on heating equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- learn how to diagnose faults and carry out repairs on heating systems as needed.
- work with the plumbers to install pipework and plumbing system modifications.
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively during installations and repairs.
- Perform heavy lifting as required for the transportation of equipment and materials.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, including service reports and parts used.
All applicants will undertake an initial assessment with Blackburn College and will attend one day each week and study the Level 3 Plumbing and Heating apprenticeship
GCSE's required
Maths and English at Grade 4 or Functional Skills Level 2
Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship
Pay: £7.55 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
