New Students' Day

We're getting ready! If you are currently a Year 11 student and have applied to Blackburn College you'll receive an invite to attend our New Students' Day. We can’t wait to show you what being a Blackburn College student is all about.
On the day
You'll take part in a range of sessions, each one will be packed with exercises designed to give you a taste of the course you applied for.
The day will also include:
- Speaking with your potential tutor
- Seeing the amazing facilities you will learn in
- Spending time on campus with some fun entertainment
- Finding out about the support we can provide for you to reach your potential

You should attend this event as part of becoming a Blackburn College student so make sure to make a note and save the date.
There is no need to worry about the event details and timings right now. You'll receive all the necessary information closer to the date in the post. PLUS get your FREE bus pass in the post after the event! We'll also update this page with all the relevant details, so make sure to check back.
What time shall I arrive?
Depending on your chosen course, there are allocated times as shown below:
A-Levels/Science: 9:00AM, Sixth Form Building
ESOL: 9:30AM, Sixth Form Building
Technical: 9:30AM, (across buildings on campus)
Foundation Learning: 9:45AM, Beacon Centre
Where should I go when I arrive?
When you arrive on campus you will head to a registration point. You'll get these details provided to you closer to the event date in the post.
