Exciting, committed (to its students), challenging.
What made you decide to study at Blackburn Sixth Form?
It had a good reputation, a broad range of subject choices, a range of benefits I.e discounted bus pass and academic scholarships.
What did you like best about Blackburn Sixth Form? And why!
There was less rigidity in learning i.e more flexible timetables with time for independent learning. I built extremely good relationships with my tutors who always showed a real dedication for me to succeed. The opportunities I received such as Villiers Park and a trip to South Africa improved my confidence and independence and made me a more well rounded student- especially when applying for universities.
What was the best thing about your course?
The tutors! Their passion for the content and teaching always came through and made the learning so much more enjoyable and interesting.
What did you think of the campus - the atmosphere, the facilities, how safe you felt?
Great facilities and the campus was always lively.
What are you doing now?
I am a trainee solicitor in a large national law firm due to qualify as a solicitor in summer 2023.
Did you do anything in between leaving college and what you are doing now?
I went to the University of Birmingham and completed my LLB. I then worked as a paralegal in three different law firms and for a company in-house whilst completing the Legal Practice Course. I then started my training contract in summer 2021.
