Looking for an apprentice to join a well establish service centre and Mot station. The successful applicant must demonstrate a strong passion for working in the motor trade. Whilst not essential it would be benefit if applicants have either completed or be working towards a Level 2 motor vehicle qualification in college.
Job description
- Workshop maintenance including cleaning duties
- Stock management
- Vehicle fault diagnostics
- Servicing
- Repairs
- Some welding (once trained)
- Complete associated paperwork
- Customer liaison
- Supplier liaison
- Test drive vehicles
Required Skills
- Must be a self-starter and have some
- knowledge of tools and vehicle components
- Technical mindset
- Passion for vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Ability to drive is essential
Personal Qualities
- Excellent work ethic
- Demonstrate ability to take initiative and seek support/advice where applicable
- Ability to work flexibly and be a team player
- Good communication skills verbal and written
Working Schedule
40 hours per weeks between 8.00 and- 5.00 possibly Saturday mornings.
Required Qualifications
Maths and English minimum,
Motor vehicle qualification desirable but not essential as practical experience would be more useful.

33 Months
Future prospects
Progression to Level 3 and permanent role
