International Tissue Company are seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join their Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship programme. Job Role
- Assist qualified engineers in the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical and electrical systems
- Carry out routine inspections and testing of equipment and machinery
- Participate in fault finding and diagnostics activities
- Support project work, including design, planning, and implementation of engineering solutions
- Follow health and safety guidelines and contribute to maintaining a safe working environment
- Document work undertaken, maintain records, and complete apprenticeship coursework and assessments
- Attend training sessions and complete relevant qualifications as part of the apprenticeship framework
Required Skills and Personal Qualities
- Demonstrate ability to problem solving with an inquisitive nature.
- Strong interest in engineering and problem solving
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Be willing to learn and develop self
- Attention to detail and a methodical approach to task
Working Schedule
9.00am until 5.00pm Monday to Friday – 37.5 hours per week.
Qualifications Required
Grade 4 or above in Maths, Grade 4 or above in English or Functional Skills Level 2 in Maths and English is essential.
Science Grade 4 or above is desirable.
Other Information
This Apprenticeship is a Level 2 Apprenticeship.
