Edward Taylor Textiles is UK’s largest leading sublimation factory working within the teamwear market. We collaborate with sporting brands to bring their team wear to the market.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the business if you have passion for product design and composition. We are currently seeking a diligent individual who is eager to learn about the business’s product development division.
Job Description
1. Initial pattern drafting from a garment. (prior experience would be great).
2. How to measure an item of clothing in relation to specification charts
3. Creating charts with size specifications and grading rules.
4. Regularly interacting with clients and informing them of product developments.
5. Learning about the manufacturing process of clothing and best practices. Including using machinery to stitch garments together to gain an overall knowledge of manufacturing processes.
6. Configuring Tech Packs for clothing production.
7. Proficiency in Excel and Adobe Illustrator would be ideal.
8. Acquiring knowledge of the various materials utilized in sportswear.
9. Acquiring an overall view and understanding of all aspects of a product developer’s role.
Skills Required
· Ability to demonstrate a flair for design and fashion
· CAD software experience preferred but not essential
· Effective Communication skills

Qualifications Required
GCSE Maths and English passes.
Due to complete a relevant qualification in textiles level 3 creative design diploma
