Looking for a Multi Channel Marketer Apprenticeship
As a Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketer Assistant Apprentice at Blackburn UK Trust, you will support the charity's fundraising and marketing teams in promoting the organisation, increasing brand awareness, and helping to recruit donors. You will assist with day-to-day marketing activities across a range of channels, including digital marketing, social media, email marketing, website content, and offline campaigns. Working under the guidance of experienced colleagues, you will gain practical, hands-on experience while developing the knowledge, skills, and behaviours required to complete the Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketer Apprenticeship Standard. This role is ideal for someone starting a career in marketing who is enthusiastic, creative, and keen to build confidence in a professional marketing environment.
Duties
- Assist with creating and posting content across social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.
- Schedule social media posts using management tools.
- Respond to basic social media comments and enquiries under guidance.
- Support the preparation and formatting of email marketing campaigns.
- Update website content using a Content Management System (CMS).
- Proofread marketing content for spelling, accuracy, and brand consistency.
- Create simple marketing materials including social media posts, blogs, posters, presentations, and promotional content.
- Use design software such as Canva to create visual content.
- Support the delivery of marketing campaigns across digital and offline channels.
- Assist with events, printed marketing materials, and internal communications.
- Carry out basic market and competitor research.
- Collect and record marketing performance data, including website and social media engagement.
- Support the Fundraising Manager with reporting and record keeping.
- Maintain content calendars, marketing trackers, and CRM databases.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues while developing skills in line with the Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketer Apprenticeship Standard.
Qualifications/Experience
- GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Maths at Grade 4/C or above.
- Previous paid or voluntary experience in marketing, social media, or customer service.
- Basic understanding of marketing principles.
- Experience using Canva, Google Analytics, or similar digital marketing tools.
Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Good organisational and time management skills.

Pay
- £8.00 per hour
Working Hours
- Contract: Fixed-term apprenticeship (typically 24 months).
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm.
- Weekend work: Required when the role or events demand it.
