October Adult & Higher Education Information Event

Adult & Higher Education Information Evening - What to Expect?

If you’re in:

• Year 13
• Thinking about Higher Education/university courses
• Looking to get back into education
• Wanting to boost your career role and earnings

This information event is the perfect place to begin.

Find out what adult and higher education is like at Blackburn College, and why it's a great place for you to study. Chat with our supportive teaching staff to find out even more about the course and your options with us.

With a wide range of adult and higher education courses designed to match your ambitions and future career goals, this is your chance to picture your future and see why Blackburn College could be the right choice for you.

Can I make an application at the event?

Absolutely! You can apply directly to us, with no fuss and no costs. We will have an 'application station' available at the event, with staff on hand for any questions.

You can apply directly to us even if you are planning on also using UCAS to apply for Higher Education courses. We consider both types of application equally, but direct applications are quicker and we can communicate with you directly rather than via UCAS.

Support Services

We will also have a range of additional services available at the event including:

• Academic Coaches
• Higher Level Apprenticeships
• Professional Qualifications
• Careers Advisors
• Student Finance Advisors
• Disability Advice Service

Where do I go and where do I park?

Head to the University Centre building (building number 1) to sign in and you'll be directed to the subject area and staff member.

Our Campus Map (PDF) will help guide you to your desired location and also will be a helping hand while you're heading around campus on the evening.

FREE Car parking is available on campus (BB2 1LH) or you can pay at Feilden Street multi-storey (BB2 1LQ). Please note Feilden Street multi-storey closes at 8pm.
