Parents' Evening

We're pleased to share with you our Parents’ Evening date. This will be held on Tuesday 24th March 2026 from 4.30pm – 8pm.

You will have an opportunity to discuss your son/daughter/young person’s progress with subject teachers and/or personal 
tutors, including their Maths and English and support tutors, if applicable

Appointments

Your son/daughter/young person will need to make individual appointments with their personal tutors on your behalf. Appointments will be held on campus at Blackburn College and should take around 10 - 15 minutes. This is now the time to check that appointments have been made.

Please note - you will need to book separate appointments for each subject area, for example:

• Maths and English 
• Subject course

Please ensure that your son/daughter/young person finalises their appointments ahead of the evening as appointments will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. If you are unable to attend, tutors are also offering Microsoft Teams appointments so that you can meet online, or there is the opportunity to request a phone call from their personal tutor.

Again, make sure that your son/daughter/young person finalises these appointments and times.

We also encourage your son/daughter/young person to attend Parents’ Evening with you so that they can also hear the updates on their progress. On the evening, you will have the chance to provide us with feedback regarding your Parents’ Evening experience. It is always helpful to receive parent/guardian views and opinions to help improve future events.

Parking

You are able to park on the College car parks on the evening of Tuesday 24th March 2026 for free. The pay and display machines will not be in use.

On the night

When you arrive on campus, please head to your son/daughter/young person’s subject building.
