The course is open to people with some knowledge of using a sewing machine and basic sewing techniques. The course runs for 3 hours per week for 5 weeks.

Entry Requirements
You must know how to use a sewing machine and have basic knowledge of sewing techniques.

What will I study?
The practical course is designed to give you further skills in both sewing techniques and garment construction, giving opportunity to work on your own project. This could be creating a skirt, trousers or simple dress from a pattern of your choice.
Throughout the course, you will be given tutor support and guidance whilst learning to produce a basic garment using the correct finishing techniques such as seams, zips, pleats, gathers and pockets. -
