    The Skills for Growth Adults Administration Entry Level 1 course is designed for adults who want to develop the practical skills, knowledge and confidence needed to work in an office or administrative environment.

    You will learn about the day-to-day responsibilities of administrative roles, develop communication and customer service skills, gain experience using office technology, and build employability skills valued by employers. Through practical activities and workplace-based projects, you'll develop the confidence needed to progress into further learning, training or employment.

    As part of the course, you will complete a practical administration project that simulates working within an office environment. 

    Project activities include:

    • Use office equipment safely and effectively  
    • Support customer service activities  
    • Work as part of a team  
    • Complete mock workplace tasks 
  • Entry Requirements

    There are no formal qualifications required for this course. Applicants should have an interest in administration, office work and developing workplace skills. An initial assessment and discussion will help ensure the course is suitable for your individual needs and goals.
