Adam's three words to describe Blackburn College
What made you decide to study at Blackburn College?
I was looking at all the colleges and Blackburn just seemed like the better choice and it suited me in more ways than all the other options did so I applied and then I got it.
What did you like best about Blackburn College? And why!
The best thing about my apprenticeship was working on site and not sat in a classroom five days a week. You just go one day a week, and the best thing about Blackburn College was it's more of an equal environment which makes it more independent.
What was the best thing about your course?
The best thing is we are treated more equal and we work directly with our teachers and employer. I got a distinction which is amazing as I didn't think I could do it but I proved myself wrong. It's the best qualification I've ever got and the next step starts now which will get me more qualified.
What are you doing now?
Now, I’m a qualified electrician and I'm currently applying for my gold card. After that I'll get my certificates for EV car charging ,solar PV and battery storage and then I'll be qualified in renewables. This expands by the day with more green technology coming out.
