Brand-New CAD Suite to Enhance T-Level Construction Programme

We marked the official opening of its state-of-the-art CAD suite in the Construction Building during last months Technology Innovation Day.

 The new facility, developed over the summer with sponsorship from KOREC Group, combines advanced CAD computers and architectural drawing tables, offering students the tools they need to thrive in modern construction practices.

The event was opened by Gretel Redwood, Head of School for Technical Studies, followed by a welcome from Dr. Fazal Dad, CEO and Principal of Blackburn College.

It was also brilliant to hear from Mark Reid, the Sales Director of KOREC Group, who highlighted how the college is leading the way in bridging the gap between education and industry with our investment in cutting-edge technology.

The new suite will play a key role in preparing Blackburn College’s T Level Construction students for careers in a rapidly evolving, digitally-driven industry.
