Blackburn College Graduation 2025

Class of 2025 - congratulations on your graduation! Our graduates filled Blackburn Cathedral with celebration, laughter and success as we welcomed them to celebrate and recognise their hard work and dedication.

We were honoured to welcome to our university partners from Lancaster University, University of Lancashire and University of South Wales to the ceremony as well to honour our graduates.

Graduates had the opportunity to graduate under the ‘Gaia’ installation by UK artist Luke Jerram. Seven metres in diameter, it features detailed NASA imagery of the Earth’s surface. The artwork provides a unique opportunity to see our planet on this scale, floating in three-dimensions. 1.8 million times smaller than the real Earth.

To our graduates you all looked amazing, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for you all. A big thank you to our incredible staff, thank you for the dedication to make Graduation 2025 unforgettable.
