Local schools join our Remembrance Day Service

Date posted: 14th November 2023

In honour of Remembrance Day, we hosted a uniformed services fair, followed by a moving Remembrance Service in collaboration with local schools.

The fair provided a chance for students to learn more about the roles and responsibilities of our Uniformed Services and students got the chance to participate in a host of activities which included making poppies, basic first aid skills, and a Q&A with active British Army members.
Brownedge St Mary's Catholic High School, Our Lady & St John Catholic College and Belmont School were the schools involved in a heartfelt Remembrance Service, and joined our CEO and Principal Dr Fazal Dad in  laying wreathes in front of our Cenotaph.
A special recognition goes out to our dedicated Public Service students and staff members who played a crucial role in hosting activities at the fair.
