Sparking interest in Apprenticeships

Date posted: 30th March 2023

Our Level 3 Construction and Built Environment students attended the SPARK event at the Engineering Innovation Centre at UCLan. The event gave our students the opportunity to meet employers who are offering Degree Apprenticeships. Our students were able to develop essential communication skills as they spoke to different employers to learn about their businesses as well as discuss potential work placement opportunities that may lead into Degree Apprenticeships.

A Degree Apprenticeship is a paid job, and combines working with study, giving students the chance to gain work experience whilst achieving a full degree by the end of their apprenticeship.

What a great experience for our students to connect with industry employers and learn about the options available to them for their next career step.
