What will I study?
The course will cover the following topics:-
- Health and safety
- Know your tools and how to use them, hand tools
- Tool maintenance, chisels and hand planes
- Different types of timber and grain
- Basic joints used in joinery
- How to make a mitre box for cutting skirting boards and architraves
- Removal and replacement of skirtings and architraves
- Use of battery drill
- Use of fixings for different backgrounds
- Learn different methods of levelling (spirit and laser levels)
