What made you decide to study at Blackburn Sixth Form?

My choice to study at Blackburn Sixth Form was that it was because it was accessible and close to home. The choice of subjects was really good and gave you a quite a wide range of things that you could study at the same time. Also you had the freedom to study independently and it was little less like school and more like university life.

What did you like best about Blackburn Sixth Form? And why!

The best thing about Blackburn Sixth Form for me was the independent study and the idea that you lead your own study a little bit more than you would at a regular college. It will set you up really well for university life.

I am currently a corrosion engineer at the University of Leeds. I study how pipelines degrade over time and how to mitigate these circumstances and how to make our pipes last longer.

Did you do anything in between leaving college and what you are doing now?

I became a PHD Student at the University of Leeds.
